Halloween, a holiday that’s all about carving pumpkins, making costumes and baking holiday treats, brings out the creative side of people, particularly artists, many of whom use the holiday to explore the darker side of things This week, we shined our glow sticks into the darkest of places and found 17 local artists who created their own artistic versions of Halloween. Among our finds are a grim reaper, a woman feasting on brains, an eerie Rinker plant and a bunch of dirty little zombies living in Altoid tins, of all places.

The Bear and Bird's "Off the Needle" art show was a success :) I'm posting some pics I took . Some pictures were taken by the staff at the gallery .
In this picture I posed next to my piece , titled "Saloon Debauchery" a digital art piece in a 8x10 oval frame. This exhibition is open til October 10th!

Creepy Crochet eyeball :D

My friend sent this HOW TO eyeball crochet pattern from Neatorama.com . I thought it was great for Halloween and for any horror/slasher movie fan. I might give it a try and see if it turns out similar to the picture I posted above :p

I saw Iron Maiden on Thursday night. It was the most amazing show I have ever seen. What energy!
I also would love to say that even though Bruce Dickinson is about 50 yrs old or so, he moves around the stage like a teenager , God bless him! Wooh!
Bruce said they would probably return to Florida in 2011! I will be waiting patiently for that date to be announced.
My love for this band has grown stronger now after I saw them live <3

JAPANLA SUPER MEGA FUN TOUR AUGUST 2009!

So, we are finally finished planning our next trip to Japan! This one is the JapanLA Super Mega Fun Tokyo Tour August 2009! This time we are going to be going to Comiket! The world's largest handmade comic book convention with 35,000 sellers of comic books...crazy right? If you aren't into comics, that's ok too. We have lots of stuff for you to do. Here is the itinerary!

Arrive Tokyo! Check into Keio Hotel in Shinjuku. This is a very nice hotel, and you get free internet and tea in your room. There is a Karaoke spot on the 47th floor, and 12 restaurants and 8 bars in the hotel.
